Transferable Strengths From F500 + SMBs

I spent the first decade of my career inside Fortune 500 environments (New York Life, Albertsons Corporate) learning how large organizations function: cross-functional stakeholders, operating without authority, managing competing priorities and authorities, heavy compliance requirements, and the need for solutions that scale without constant hand-holding.

When I transitioned into instructional design, I applied those same operating principles to smaller, less-structured clients. The result has been learning solutions and assets that are produced efficiently, endure independent of the designer after launch, and are focused on businses outcomes rather than just content delivery. I’ve also strengthened my ability to function within ambiguity, iterate faster, and deliver with very limited resources and budgets.
